🌿 Job Title: River Trip Coordinator (Driver + Guest Experience) 

Location: Milwaukee area (including Brown Deer, Thiensville, and surrounding river access points)
Position Type: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: 3–4 shifts per week (Mid-May through September 2026)

Forward Outdoor provides easy, accessible outdoor experiences in the Milwaukee area, from self-guided river trips to lakeshore rentals. We focus on removing barriers so more people can enjoy time outside, connect with nature, and feel at home in the outdoors.

🚣 About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable, positive, and customer-focused team member to support our self-guided river trip experiences.

This role blends guest experience, outdoor operations, and shuttle driving. You’ll help ensure each trip runs smoothly—from greeting customers and providing safety orientations to transporting guests and equipment between launch points.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, welcoming experience for all guests
• Deliver clear and concise safety orientations before each trip
• Drive a 15-passenger van with trailer to transport guests and kayaks between locations
• Pick up and return company vehicle from our storage lot at the beginning and end of each shift
• Safely load, unload, and secure kayaks and equipment
• Support smooth daily operations and trip flow
• Maintain clean, organized vehicles, equipment, and launch areas
• Monitor guest safety and respond appropriately to issues as they arise
• Act as a positive ambassador for Forward Outdoor

🚐 Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Comfortable driving a van and trailer (or willingness to learn)
• Ability to lift and move up to 85 pounds repeatedly throughout a shift
• Strong communication skills and customer-first mindset
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Reliable transportation to access multiple locations, including our storage lot

✨ Preferred (but not required)

• Experience with kayaking or paddle sports
• First Aid, Water Safety Certifications 
• Previous customer service or outdoor work experience

🌟 Additional Opportunities (if qualified)

• Lead guided kayak trips
• Support private events and group experiences

📅 Schedule Expectations

• 3–4 shifts per week
• Weekend/ Holiday availability required
• Shifts are typically 10am–7pm
