SUSTAINABILITY

If you appreciate the outdoors, it’s only natural that we want our actions to reflect our values of care for the environment and each other. Forward Outdoor strives to incorporate the ethics of sustainability into all the decisions we make.

Why? Our actions have consequences. The products we purchase have an effect on the people who make them, the rivers next to the factories where they’re made, and the environment where it is ultimately disposed of.

What is Sustainability? It’s meeting the needs of the current generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. It’s the equal consideration of economic, environmental and social impacts while we run our business. It means we will tread lightly on the earth, treat our employees, clients and community with respect, and do it all within a framework that provides financial returns so that we can continue to be a thriving force for positivity.

B Corp Certification
We will be seeking B Corp Certification as we build our business. B Corp is an accountability system where we hold ourselves to a higher standard and produce documentation to B Lab that proves we don’t just care about making money, we make decisions with the impact on the environment and society in mind as well. We will keep you up to date as we build this reporting structure.
