Paddle & Pour Overs
Got a hankering for coffee and kayaking? Come paddle Milwaukee’s Lakeshore State Park then enjoy coffee and pastries while Stone Creek’s Coffee Educator demonstrates the finer art of Pour Overs! Reserve your kayaking start time for 90 minutes of paddling around the serene waters of the Lakeshore State Park lagoon overlooking the downtown skyline. If you’re feeling confident in your paddling skills and the weather conditions allow it you’re welcome to leave the breakwater and kayak along the shore of Lake Michigan.
Book a time from 7am-10am to pickup your boat. Choose from single sit-in kayaks, sit-on tops, tandems, folding or inflatable kayaks. (Subject to availability).
Grab a coffee and pastry anytime from 7-10am, then satisfy your coffee curiosity and stop by the Stone Creek tent for a presentation on coffee and pour over techniques at either 7am, 8am, or 9am.
Our Paddling Popup will be there all day with rentals during the middle of the day, and Paddling & Painting with a local artists in the afternoon/evening!
Includes: 90-minute kayak/paddle/life jacket rental, coffee, pastries and pour over demonstration

Gear to bring: Shoes and clothing that can get wet and are appropriate for the day’s weather conditions, towel, water, snacks, sunscreen, bug spray, dry clothes for after.
Cost: $39 per person + taxes/fees
Meeting Location: Lakeshore State Park Beach, 500 N Harbor Dr, Milwaukee. You can park either on the street in front of Discovery World or in one of the parking ramps at Discovery, the Art Museum or across the street. It is about an 8-10 minute walk from Discovery World out to the beach in the middle of the island at Lakeshore State Park.
