Fall Colors River Kayak Experience – Brown Deer
Enjoy the fall colors on a peaceful paddle down the upper Milwaukee River, without any of the work! Just show up and we’ll transport you and a kayak or canoe upriver, then you float down at your own pace to end at your car, and we take care of the rest. Got your own kayak or canoe? We can transport you and your boat upriver as well. We meet at Badger Meter Park in Brown Deer, just 20 minutes north of downtown Milwaukee. Then you hop in our van and we take you up to Thiensville Village Park to launch. This stretch is full of nature and wildlife, and perfect for beginners and experienced paddlers alike. Total paddle should take about 1.5-2 hours, can be a little shorter or longer depending on water levels.
NOTE: Due to unpredictable fall water levels, we may switch to the next section upriver if water is too low.
